RSS provides the facility to have the latest plots in your chosen county delivered directly to you, rather than remembering to check Building Plot on a regular basis. RSS feeds are also found on major news sites such as the BBC, providing the latest headlines.
Generally you will need a news reader. This is a (mostly free) piece of software that checks RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to them.
Some Internet browsers such as Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer 7 have built in RSS readers.
Google and Yahoo both provide online news reader facilities so you can check in with your personalised feeds anywhere in the world.
Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want to receive in your news reader, by clicking on the relevant
button.
Each county has an orange RSS button on the page. This allows you to stay up to date with as many counties of interest as you wish.
